On verso: "Y.W.C.A. San Jose, Cal" stamped in blue, and "Sample's Photo Service Phone Ballard 8440 William St., San Jose L 29 1938". Photograph has a large circle cut out of the middle and the circle is missing. The circle seems to have been a young lady on the front and had the complete date stamped in it on the back. There is a pinhole in the left bottom. The YWCA's Camp Ayun Mapu at Big Basin near Boulder Creek attracted about 150 girls for two week sessions in the summer.
