Submissions include essays, poetry, journal entries, photographs, presentations, social media, original artwork, audio recordings, video recordings, etc. Major themes: the effects of social distancing and county shelter-in-place orders on social lives, mental health, financial well-being, and campus life. Student submissions focus on the campus shutdown, online classes, and how those affected their learning experience; many express disappointment about cancelled graduation. Faculty submissions center on teaching strategies for online learning, coursework, personal reflections, and words of encouragement. This collection will continue to grow over time as more contributions are processed and made available. The Spartans Speak on COVID-19 project remains open for submissions.
