The George E. Stone Photographic Collection, a three-volume set titled "Ivories, Sculptures and Paintings," documents Italian artwork prior to World War II (c.1941). Stone worked at San Jose State College as an Assistant and Associate Professor in Journalism from 1934 until his retirement in 1956. In addition to this unpublished work, he wrote a student textbook on photography and illustrated an elementary school textbook. Stone received his A.B. in 1916 and his A.M. in 1933 from the University of California as he served as Captain in the Photographic Section of the U.S.A.A.E.F. from 1918-1919. Show less
